Janesville Man Faces 5th OWI Charge | Crime

Eric Van Natta, 39, of Janesville faces a fifth offense drunken driving charge after being pulled over on Interstate 39 in Rock County early Tuesday morning.

Witnesses reported that Van Natta was driving erratically at about 3:15 a.m., according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. He was stopped after a trooper saw him speeding and weaving between lanes. The trooper also notice an equipment defect on his vehicle.

Once the trooper approached the vehicle he could smell the odor of intoxicants coming from inside the vehicle, authorities said.
