Beloit PD: Most stores refuse underage sales in sting | Business
Police said a Beloit liquor store employee was cited Friday for selling alcohol to an underage representative in a compliance sting.
The Town of Beloit Police Department said Tuesday that Happy House Liquor on Elmwood Avenue sold alcohol to an underage operative during a compliance check of alcohol-licensed businesses Friday.
Sgt. Laura Palmer said Tracey Dexter Dailey was cited for selling to the underage person but that most other businesses did not.
"I am pleased to report that the majority of stores refused sale to our underage representative," Palmer said in the release.
